Votes for correct answers
Since most members don't mark answers as correct, how about people confirm for correct answers, say at least 5 times?

The name of the site is "Name That Pornstar"! I got a complaint that I did not hit the Confirm Button and that people wont help me anymore if I go on that way.
Why
I did not get a name, but just a link to another pic! Should I hit the confirm button for that?
Sure I like the follow up but it is not an answer. Sometimes I react with a link. Just to help ... I expect a confirm click when I provide the correct name . No More no less. -

Rant = correct, in the main.
It is an imperfect system as the weakest link *IS* between the seat and the computer.

Yeah, but it's not like they're winning anything by getting unlimited points. If someone wants to go through all that trouble then let them. Jokes on them, really. But for the rest of us it's kind of a pain to spend our time looking for an answer only for it to not be marked correct, ever.
Every now and then a rare pic, video, gif comes along that I have spent hours, days even combing the web to find, but in the end is was all a waste of time because there's a % of users only here to get answers but never mark correct. I even called some of then out and refused to give them an answer until they marked the multiple ones I already answered correct. Then, there's another % that get impatient, leave and never come back to mark them correct. I mean, if I have more "know for a fact" correct answers just sitting unmarked correct than I do answers marked correct, then what's the point of the point system anyways, when most users don't receive the majority of their points?
Not to mention, confirming an answer to mark it correct gave me incentiv to actually check other users' answers and/or sources, and then confirm their answer, knowing I'm helping them get the points they spent time earning. Now, there's absolutely no reason to waste my time checking others' sources and confirming them because it's basically meaningless. /Rant over e

Auto-marking>Correct is open to cheating.
1. make six Usernames
2. post a question
3. log out (not necessary to be logged in to post a question)
4. login as one of the other IDs
5. answer question
6. log out
7. login as one of the other IDs
8. mark [Confirm]
9. REPEAT #s 6, 7 & 8
10. Auto points GALORE -

What happened to this feature? The two confirms making an answer cirrect was working great, and was allowing a lot more answers to be marked correct. Now, all the sudden it has stopped working. I just saw an answer that was more than 48 hours old and had been confirmed 5 times, yet was still not marked correct.

Definitely need a way to vote on the correct answer, and the first comments should take priority (somehow). If 3 people list the correct name, it only makes sense for the 1st person who added it, to get the points. (just spitballing here, but maybe 1st & 2nd comments require 5 votes, 3+ comments require 10 votes.)
